A Pilgrim with Mother Mary

Oh Mary, beautiful handmaid;
You gladly sing God’s praises
and gratefully receive His love.
Fulfilling His mission with trust.

Longing for His coming,
Your stillness speaks of hope.
Professing, “let it be done
according to your Word.”

Be my guide, O Mother Mary,
In proclaiming the mystery of God,
In the face of human mobility,
The challenge of the world.

Your womb has become Jesus’
first dwelling place on earth.
You give strength to my faith
in living the myst’ry of your Son.

In days of struggles and doubts,
You are there as my Mother.
You walk with me and care for me,
helping me to go on.

Be my guide, O Mother Mary,
In proclaiming the mystery of God,
In the face of human mobility,
The challenge of the world.

In my service to others,
You inspire me to work with love,
And ponder things in my heart,
Giving my life with joy.

As I journey with the pilgrims,
You remind me of your “Yes”;
Your patience and endurance,
They comfort me on my way.

Be my guide, O Mother Mary,
In proclaiming the mystery of God,
In the face of human mobility,
The challenge of the world.
